Jean has had more than 20 years’ experience as a Psychologist in the field of Child and Youth Mental Health, after graduating with B SC (Hons) from The University of Queensland and later completed a M. Med. Sci. degree through the UQ Department of Psychiatry. Her professional experience included clinical work with children and teenagers with problems such as anxiety, depression, psychosis, eating disorders, and those with the psychosocial dysfunction and traumatic events which place them at risk of the later development of various mental health disorders. Her work included the development of parenting skills and family therapy with the parents and families of clients. She was also involved in staff training and supervision, service development, and management. Jean also served in fulltime Christian ministry for 11 years, along with her husband who was a Pastor and Christian School Principal. She led Women’s Ministry, Creative Ministry (Dance and Drama) led worship, teaching and speaking, organised Conferences and retreats, and engaged in pastoral counselling and prayer ministry. Jean has now retired, coordinating the Counselling and Inner Healing Centre, offering counselling and prayer ministry in a voluntary capacity.

Carol is a trained teacher having graduated from Kelvin Grove Teacher’s College in 1964. She has been involved in prayer ministry for over 25 years such as altar rail ministry, intercession and private prayer ministry using Elijah House principles and teaching. Carol completed the Elijah House Ministry Course in 1983 and has since been actively involved with Elijah House Australia as a ministry group and course leader, having travelled both interstate and intrastate on many occasions.

Previously Carol has gained experience in Healing Rooms Australia and leading and training others in Sozo, Immanuel Approach Ministry and courses related to healing and synchronising broken hearts.
Carol has a heart to see others walking in wholeness and in closer relationship with Father God, Jesus and Holy Spirit. To see the church become the pure empowered bride of Christ.
Helen has over 20 years experience in prayer ministry, and has had training in most ministry fields. She has led many small groups both in her capacity
as home group leader and trainer.

Helen has seen God bring breakthrough to her life in many ways during periods of mental and emotional distress.
​
God has commissioned Helen with Isaiah 61, and her desire is to help people allow Jesus into their pain, and so be healed. She particfularly loves ministering Immanuel Approach as it is so gentle. Helen has a desire to see people more closely connected to Jesus.
She has had training in all aspects of prayer ministry.

Rachel began as a volunteer prayer minister at the Counselling and Inner Healing Centre in 2022.
Rachel's life became a fulfilment of a life-long dream to become a mother after she abandoned her career. She is still in the midst of mothering but the freedon God has worked in her life guides her desire to help others to experience the same.
She has completed Elijah House courses A - D, Bribie Wholeness Centre's Prayer Ministry Training Course, Immanuel Skills Development Training Course by Immanuel Focussed Training's Michael Schaefer and also a year of Bible College in 2019. She currently worships at Lighthouse church.
